Tsoft Software Products, Inc., a North Carolina based personal computer software company, is pleased to announce the release of a new product named Diet Track. As you probably guessed from the name, Diet Track is designed to help you record and report on each resident's individual dietary intake, nutritional needs and weight history.

Diet Track's greatest strength lies in its data base, which allows you to retrieve a patient's previous information and use it as a starting place, changing only the information that's different.

After initial data entry, Diet Track can reduce the time spent on Assessment, Intake, and Weight Reporting by as much as 80%

• Insures consistency and correctness! Enter assessment, intake, and weight history information one time and let the computer copy and report the data as many times as required.
• Save days of professional time spent writing assessments, calculating nutritional needs, and scanning information to find significant changes.
• An unlimited amount of dietary history may be stored in the system's data base for future reference or for reprinting reports that have been lost or destroyed.
• Helps insure readability. Since the computer prints the reports, you avoid legibility issues such as unreadable writing and scratched out errors.
• Diet Track is designed to work under Microsoft Windows® to make use of modern point and click technology for maximum ease of use!
• Full "Context Sensitive" on-line HELP manual is available at the touch of a button.
• Diet Track is network capable.
• Hand held unit interface for the Apple Newton® makes intake and weight recording fast and easy. (Windows C/E Palm PC Interface coming in the near future.)
• Built in worksheets automatically calculate caloric, protein, and fluid needs values.
• Print reports for selected residents or every resident in your facility.
• Reports may be viewed on screen, printed, or exported to a disk file.
• Provides both Normal and Tube Fed assessment forms.
• Keeps track of intake values for both regular meals and any number of snacks(supplemental intake).
• On screen assessment entry forms edit information for completeness and consistency.

System Requirements:

Diet Track runs on IBM ® and compatibles with Microsoft Windows 95 or newer. A printer is required to print reports, and for best performance, a Pentium II or faster machine is recommended. A mouse or other pointing device is also highly recommended.

Pricing Information:
The Diet Track Windows Component is sold as a Site License. This means that it may be used on several machines or on a network within the same facility at no additional charge. To make Diet Track affordable to all sizes of facilities, it is sold using a sliding scale that reduces the price for smaller operations.
